CareFlight Rescue (CFR) is a division of the CareFlight Group, Australia’s largest air medical retrieval operation, carrying out more than 3000 domestic and international rescues each year.

CFR is a not for profit and charitable organisation which operates the Group's rescue helicopters. With a response time of as little as six minutes, its dedicated pilots and aircrew operate a fleet of helicopters including a Bell 412, Bell 230 and AS350BA Squirrel. With a critical care doctor and QAS paramedic on board for every mission, CFR is CareFlight's core business. Incredibly this service is provided to the communities of southern Queensland 24/7, at no direct cost to patients.
